Employment Counselor

An employment counselor is defined as one who performs counseling duties and who meets the minimum employment needs of client.

The focus of the employment counselor is appropriate job placement of its client.

The counselors are expected in the process to counsel clients on personal problems and assisting them in developing attitudes, skills and abilities that will facilitate their employment.

Counselors are also involved in data gathering from their clients and in the administration and interpretation of standardized tests.
