The organising committee have worked tirelessly over the weeks leading up to this event and I congratulate them for their efforts. The children were very excited and I’m sure watching a movie under the stars will be an experience they will remember in years to come. Thank you to those families who supported this special event. P & C AGM Meeting A reminder that the P&C will be holding their AGM on Monday, 4 th November at 7pm. Please consider coming along to offer your support. Life Education Van The Life Education Van has been at our school for the past 2 weeks, with each class attending lessons with a Personal Development/Health perspective. From all reports, the students have thoroughly enjoyed these sessions-especially the Kindergarten children being able to meet Healthy Harold. Group Photos A reminder that group photos will now be taken on Thursday, 14 th November. Details regarding these will be available in the upcoming weeks. Kinder Farm Excursion Reminder The Kindergarten students will travel by bus to BWSC- Umina Campus tomorrow(Thursday, 31st) to visit the farm. We will be leaving at approximately 9.15am so it is important that students arrive at school on time. The students are reminded to wear their school uniform, hats and joggers. A reminder that they will need to bring recess and a drink in a disposable plastic bag. We will return to school and have lunch at normal time. As promised….it was a fantastic night of family fun. The big screen was amazing, the weather perfect and the stars were out for the event. We hope you all enjoyed the night! Thank you to our busy group of volunteers for their great efforts on the night. You certainly helped to make the night run smoothly. Special mention to our fantastic MC Steve Wylie for his efforts. We would also like to thank Mr Lewis for all of his support leading up to and at the event, and the office staff for their ongoing help and support in making the night a success. Thank you to Umina Public School for hosting the café during those weeks Free Families Activities on Saturday every Saturday at Woy Woy South Public School, games and fun. Bring along a picnic lunch. Last week Saturday 26th October we had NSW rugby league and Netball NSW joining us with exciting sporting clinics for the students and families of all schools on the Peninsula.
