Blended Teaching & Learning to Support Self-Directed Learning
Blended learning is pervading education, compelling educators to confront existing presuppositions about teaching & learning in education.
Leaders of elementary & higher education are challenged to position their institutions to meet the connectivity demands of prospective students as well as their growing expectations & requirements for quality learning experiences.
Blended Teaching & Learning for excellent performance…… A blended learning approach provided
innovative options to address the varying needs of the next generation within the framework that Self-directed learning provides.
Given the increasing facts that internet Information and Communication Technology (ICT) are transforming societies, this will be the defining transformative innovation for education in the 21st century.
We use brain based technology for EI development to enable greater academic success1. ECD learners are equipped with knowledge about their brain and their emotions, and taught to exercise skill in aiding brain hemispheric integration2. ECD educators are equipped with knowledge about brain development at a young age and how to stimulate brain development and the stages of emotional development and how to groom EI in learners3. Older learners are equipped with understanding and skills in EI to aid optimal brain functioning, study skills, stress management, career choices and brain food4. Parents are equipped with knowledge about their children’s EI and brain wiring and how to creative a conducive learning environment for optimal performance5. Educators are equipped with knowledge about learners unique brain learning preferences to engage them more effectively for efficient and effective classroom transfer of knowledge through BLENDED TEACHING AND LEARNING STRATEGIES.
