not sufficient for human performance and career advancement in organization.

Answer: Yes, perform better and develop steadier

career paths in organization.

Managers who are aware and have true understanding of their own and others emotions and able to use that understanding in their relation with others are more effective than traditional managers who actively separate any emotion from workplace.

Emotionally intelligence people:

-behave in rationally and emotionally balanced way.

-having 4 competence that called EI competence. These competencies classified into two broad categories:

1-personal competence2-social competence

Ability of a person to sense one’s own internal mental moods and processes and regulate the operations of the mind in such a way that emotions do not disturb or deter the rational mind from executing its rationally actions.

Divided into 2 sub-competence: 1.self-awareness: detect the internal emotion and feeling in real

times, as thy occur within us. 2.self-regulation: Use self awareness to manage one’s own

emotions to make logically correct and socially acceptable decisions and judgments.

Ability of a person to gain psychological insight into emotional world of others.

Include 2 distinct sub-competence:1.social-awareness:-Getting ‘true feel’ of the emotional mind of others.-Able to empathize with other person. empathy

create emotional connection and bonds people even stranger than shared value, ideologies, and beliefs.

-Empathy create a base for interpersonal aptitudes like: teamwork and leadership.
