Above is a mood board I produced for Emmerdale. The pictures I got from the internet whilst doing research and they include a variety of different characters and places that are well associated with the soap, including The Woolpack pub, which is a popular gathering point for all characters and is where many scenes are filmed. The pictures allow me to get a feel for the soap and the location in which it is set, that being a rural village in West Yorkshire.

Above is a mood board which I produced for Eastenders. Similar to the Emmerdale mood board it shows popular places in which many scenes are filmed, this includes The Queen Vic and the market stalls outside and the train station which tends to end in devastating scenes or in some cases the return of an old face or new comer. Also featuring a picture inside the squares indian restaurant Argy Bargy, which is where ethical views are brought in to the soap and this has creating many storylines including a muslim son declaring he was gay, which was a very big storyline that saw lots of strong opinions from everyone.
