Pastiche/ Narcissism

Here you can see that they are copying another text and in this case it appears as if they are typing to imitate ‘Hugh Heffner’ by having multiple women in bed and wearing similar robes. This is also an example of narcissism due to Eminem being in bed with multiple girls and therefore thinking he is the best.

Bricolage

During the video you can see where they have copied other texts such as where they use comic themed writing at the start. (bottom left) You can also see where they borrow from other forms of media by acting as a news room (bottom right)

Intertextuality

You can see that Eminem is referring to batman within his video by acting as robin.

Breaking the forth wall

Here you can see Eminem looking directly at the camera and therefore intentionally breaking the forth wall by interacting with the audience.

Parody

Parody is where you will mock another text and in this case (bottom left) you can see that they are mocking the idea of video blogs on sites such as YouTube. You can also see how he is trying to mock batman by using a E for the bat signal (bottom right) Or where there are mocking Elvis (bottom middle)
