He practices by wrestling or with swords made of wood and small little shields.
He is taught to be graceful,quick and flexible
He is to hunt and hawk
He receives religious training from a chapel.
If a boy born of a knight turns 6 or 7 he is to be sent to live by the castle.
He is trained by the lord of the castle to become a knight
A knight has many duties they are:
Protecting the castle which is a Knight’s most main duty.
Make Sieges.
Attack when army are attacking them.
Sneak up on a castle and start a battle.
More Duties of a Knight are:
Protecting the king.
To make sure there are 8 knights by the king to protect him.
When being attack to rush out and fight.
Men’s Armor:
Now since the 15th century are full suit that cover the whole body
There helmets vary from covering the hole head to part of the head.
They also have there shields and swords.
Horse’s armor: Horses wear armor too. They wear it around their neck. They also wear it on there head.
Knight’s use all kinds of weapons they are the Flail, Dungeon ball, Skull mace, Skull flail, War hammer, War club, Mace, Dussack knife and cutlass, Double-headed war axe, Celtic spear, German knights halberd, European knights halberd, Giant Flamberge sword.
Castles The Huge stone castles were built in Europe from about the 1100’s to about the 1500’s. These huge buildings are not only to defend the country from invaders but as the basic tool in preserving the king’s and the nobles’ power over the land. The social system was very rigid in the Middle Ages.
Jousting is one of the biggest things in war.Death and injury is common.Jousting is used to practice for war.The weapons and armor is real.It can also be use as a sport.
