WHAT OUR GRADUATES SAY...
SALMA CHAUDHRY, MSc Global Health, McMaster University
I would recommend the Emerging Health Leaders Program to anyone who has that little voice in their head that says ‘I want to make a difference.’ That was me. I wanted to make a change in the world. I was driven, but I was independent. Through the program, I’ve really learned the importance of having a team to push your ideas forward.
EMILY BRADSHAW, MBA CANDIDATE, McMaster University
Working alongside some of the most heart-warming and kind people I have ever met truly opened my eyes to what the future of the Canadian healthcare landscape could look like, with these leaders at the forefront. I can honestly say that no other course has compared to the EHL program. I have connected with many new mentors and made 20 new lifelong friends, and I thank everyone involved for this truly amazing opportunity.
DUSTIN SILVEY, Doctorate of Community Health, Memorial University of Newfoundland
The instructors taught us to be great leaders, but more importantly to be great people. That’s what sets EHL apart from other leadership conferences I’ve attended. The calibre of instructors is unmatched.
AMENA SIDIQI, Public Health and Safety, Ryerson University
The entire program was life-altering. It showed me different lenses I can see the world through. I have never been exposed to such experiences and amazing people. EHL has honestly enhanced my character. I am only 18 -years-old and I already feel like I’m going to change the world.
THEEBHA PRETHIPAN, Bachelor of Health Sciences McMaster University
EHL provides you with a community to help you grow with respect to your individual career needs, as well the tools to lead and manage groups. Everyone has this energy they bring to the table from different backgrounds. It truly broadened my perspective and understanding.
JOE AU-YEUNG, Master of Management & Innovation University of Toronto
I have a background in biology and business as well, and the EHL program was really the cherry on top. In school, I learned book knowledge and theories, but this program taught me how to work with and lead people. EHL will help me transition into my career.
