Sub: Requirement of Emergency panel commissioning before Bar Mill Furnace lightup. This is to inform you about the testing of the emergency power from the 2 runs of cable laid for emergency power requirements from the existing Emergency power feeder section of WRM PH LCSS panel to the emergency panel (3 runs of cable are already laid for emergency power purpose for Bar Mill and USM respectively) located beside in Pump House ECE ASAP. In view of the recent power shutdown on 15.2.15(Sunday), when we could only switch on 1 soft water pump and 1 industrial water pump (300A current drawn from LBDS#8 emergency feeder) but could not switch on a third emergency power pump (failed to draw 450 A from LBDS#8 from LBDS#8 emergency feeder) .This was because the emergency power supply was repeatedly tripping after running for 5 mins. So, it is required for WRM projects to get a confirmation from Power Distribution (Projects) as to how many pumps can be switched on i.e how much current can be drawn from emergency feeder section of LBDS#8 ,in the event of a future power shutdown in both WRM and Bar Mill. Emergency Power have been Regular filter of cleaning every 6 months.there has been no issues of clogging Oil dehydrator (water percentage: 31% saturation) Electrostatic cleaning machine has been oil cleaned Air bleeding of the cylinders Greasing of wheel Trough cleaning Oil quality : NAS value in 3.(checked yesterday) Flow control valve settings not changed.
