Linking job quality and inclusive labour markets
Eurofound‘s concept of job quality
• A general, simple definition: job quality refers to the potential impact of the characteristics of jobs on the well-being of workers.
• In our approach, such definition has some important implications:
It refers to objective attributes of jobs, not to their subjective perception by the worker.
It refers to characteristics, not outcomes.
It focuses on jobs, not on workers or other work-related issues.
It is multidimensional, and the actual attributes must be defined in a coherent model.
