Embassy of India Copenhagen DAYS OF INDIA IN HOBRO November 27, 2020, was a special day at Mariagerfjord Gymnasium (High- School), whose teachers raised both Indian and Danish flag to welcome Ambassador Ajit Gupte and Madam Priti Gupte who visited the School to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The students prepared for the visit by discussing India and watching Bollywood movie “Bareilly Ki Barfi” at Filmteatret Hobro earlier that day. At the School’s canteen, Indian inspired dishes were served. Ambassador Gupte spoke about Gandhiji’s message and life philosophy, Constitution of India, as well as modern India, resulting in a lively Q&A session with the students. Ambassador Gupte, Principal Søren Urup and Mariagerfjord Chair of City Council for Culture, Jane Grøn, planted an apple tree to mark the visit. The event was rounded off with an interview with TV2 Nord, which carried the story in the local tv news:

November 27, 2020, was a special day at Mariagerfjord Gymnasium (High-School), whose teachers raised both Indian and Danish flag to welcome Ambassador Ajit Gupte and Madam Priti Gupte who visited the School to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
