Under Article IV of the by-laws of the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) we are entitled to appeal the Commission s decision to rescind our accreditation. While the appeals process is deemed confidential by ACCJC rules, I will do my best to keep you informed of our progress. The appeal itself required an enormous effort by our staff. I want to thank all of those who got this done on a very tight timeline. I believe we have compiled a compelling case for maintaining our accreditation. In the meantime we are continuing our work to complete the Roadmap to ensure we meet minimum Standards which is already over two thirds complete. Please visit the CCSF Forward website to review our progress at www.ccsfforward.com. As I ve mentioned previously, we are open and we are accredited. We are preparing for our Summer and Fall semesters. I know this is a challenging time for all of us. I continue to be impressed by the remarkable efforts by each of you to support student success and by your commitment to making sure this great institution thrives for generations to come.
