Message Length
• Use inverted pyramid (newspaper)
• Break into paragraphs and remain focused
Format: Tone
•Write in a positive tone“When you complete the report” instead of “If you complete the report.”• Avoid negative words (useless, non-existent, ex-employee, undecided)
