Royal Far West will provide staff with specialist training and advice in the areas of Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology over the next five weeks in a series of webinars and seminars with trained clinicians. Students will then be assessed to participate in weekly Occuptational Therapy and Speech programs delivered by Royal Far West with the support of our staff. Parents will be contacted to gain consent for their child/ren to participate in this program. We are very grateful to be involved in this as it can be extremely difficult to have access to these programs for our students. POETRY Recitation Day Students will be reciting their poetry on June 7 at Grenfell Public School. My class will be located in the Kindergarten room and Miss Ingold’s class in the school hall. If you are able, please come in and enjoy all of the students reciting their poetry. They have been rehearsing with a microphone to ensure the audience will be able to hear them clearly on the day. A program of the day’s events is attached to the students newsletter. YOU’RE INVITED On Friday June 22 the school and P&C invite you to a night of Poetry Performance and Dinner. The P&C are planning a beautiful, warming dinner for you to enjoy. We have also issued an invitation to all community members to join the students on stage and either read or recite their favourite poem. It would be wonderful to see some parents be risk takers and share this experience with the community. Please RSVP for caterign purposes – 0263475225. FORBES SMALL SCHOOLS ATHLETICS CARNIVAL Caragabal, Bedgerebong, Bogan Gate, Eugowara and Quandialla Public Schools will be competing at the Forbes Small Schools Athletics Carnival on Friday at Forbes Public School oval. Students competing at the carnival have the opportunity to be selected for the Lachlan Athletics team to compete in Parkes on August 10. All students need to be at Forbes Public School by 8.45 in their sports uniform. Please ensure students remain at the carnival all day and parents notify staff when they are leaving. In case of a postponement due to bad weather I will contact all parents by text the day before or on the morning of the carnival. SOCCER TRIALS All students turning 8 this year and up are invitied to trial for the small schools soccer team. THE CARAGABAL PROMOTIONAL GROUP

The Caragabal Promotional Group is developing a display to celebrate the history of Caragabal. We are currently putting together information and photographs that could be used for the display but we'd love some more! If you or someone you know has any good historical information, photographs or anecdotes to contribute to the display, please contact Melanie Cooper via email [email protected] or phone 0417 963 475 or drop it in the mailbox at 'Myall Park' in an envelope with your name and address on it. All text and photographs supplied will be returned once scanned or if you would prefer to scan and send them to Melanie, that would be fine, provided the quality is good. If anyone is interested in assisting with collating or designing the display, please contact Melanie. Thank you.
