    Your innate magic comes from the cold, an ice running through your blood. Some might even venture a guess that your heart itself is frozen. Whatever the case, your blood runs with the chill of the cryomantic power you wield.

    Frozen Heart: You are perfectly comfortable in frozen climates. You suffer no penalties for walking on ice or snow and are adapted to live in snowy, cold, climates. The cold never bothered you anyways.

    Aura of Frost: The frozen blood running through your veins manifests itself in the outside world, as a chill in the area about you. At low levels, the effect is minimal: a slight chill. As the cryomancer grows in strength, so too does his aura. Grass begins to crunch underfoot, his breath can be seen in his own chill, windows begin to frost over. The strongest of cryomancers will have the strongest auras, allowing water to freeze solid as he steps over it.

    Icy Inspiration: The cold in your blood gives you an expanded mindset. At 1st level, you can now access all spells that deal cold damage. You can learn them as if they were sorcerer spells, and they count as sorcerer spells for the purposes of all effects.

    Shivering Attack: Starting at 6th level, you gain resistance to cold damage. Whenever you cast a spell that deals cold damage, add your Charisma modifier to that damage.

    Shard of Ice: At 14th level, the ice energy you channel through your magic manifests itself in combat. When you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to deal cold damage to the attacker equal to your sorcerer level. The attacker must make a Dexterity saving throw, with a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier or be knocked prone as ice appears beneath their feet.

    Chilling Presence: Beginning at 18th level, the cold inside of you projects itself out onto the world. You gain immunity to cold damage. As an action, you can spend 5 sorcery points to draw on your power and spread a sheet of ice out to a range of 60 feet. For 1 minute or until you lose concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell), every hostile creature that starts its turn in this area must make a Dexterity saving throw or be restrained until the ice ends.
