The word “Starion” and the accompanying shooting star in the logo will con- tinue to represent aspirations, rising achievement and a commit- ment to taking people employ- ees, customers and communities farther. The public will see Starion Finan- Beginning Sept. 28, Starion Finan- cial will become Starion Bank to more clearly communicate its community banking focus and position it for the future. “The transition to the name Starion Bank marks a new chapter in our history,” said Craig Larson, Starion president/CEO. “One of the core values we embrace is that change is a vital shaping force. Those words have always rung true and are certainly relevant today.” In 2001, Starion was comprised of banks in Bismarck, Mandan, Oakes and Ellendale operating under the name First Southwest Bank. At the time, using the term “financial” was the trend because people were looking for a wide range of financial services at one source, and the bank was expand- cial logos transition to Starion Bank. A leader in community banking, Starion currently has 15 locations in Bis- marck-Mandan, Bottineau, Dun- seith, Ellendale, Fargo, Oakes and Rolla, N.D.; and Monona, Middle- ton and Sun Prairie, Wis. It has $1.2 billion in assets and 250 em- ployees. which students and business representa- tives had a chance to greet one another. The students have had many positive comments to say about El- lendale. Thank you to every- one who made the event a great welcome to the TBC students and any new staff and faculty who attended. On Tuesday, August 23, 2016, a number of Cham- ber of Commerce Busi- nesses worked together to give the Trinity Bible Col- lege students a fun “welcome” night for every- one. Upon entry, the stu- dents were handed a sack and name tag. The sack was filled with a business directory, a door prize drawing ticket, and a num- ber of freebies and cou- pons donated by various businesses. A power point presentation highlighting local businesses and the services they provide was narrated by Don Flaherty, President of Ellendale Tourism. During the power point presentation, door prize numbers were drawn and prizes were handed out. sales as a fund-raiser we decided

we just didn't have the time it takes to do this any-more. So we have turned this fundraising project

over to the Ellendale Lions and they will be doing the calling for orders and tak-ing care of the greens this year in Ellendale and the surrounding areas. So when you get the call for your order it will be the Lions
