Dear Members All,I am happy to report our Sunday All-U-Can Eat Breakfastwas another great success. Just a reminder to all lodge officers and members, there will be no lodge meeting onThursday, July 17th. The lodge was granted a dispensationfor that day so our lodge officers and some of our members could attend the Grand Lodge Convention in NewOrleans this year. My thanks to all those who attended ourMother's Day ceremony; my special thanks to Ida
Dennison, lodge committee chairman, for the event, for doing such a fine job;hats off to Emma Simpson and Teri Eckenrode for helping with the derby horseraces on Monday, May 5th. It goes without saying, the lodge is extremely proud of Erika Barger. After passing her Florida Bar Exam, on Monday, May 5th, Erika was sworn in at theFifth District Court of Appeals where her family and friends were on hand to congratulate her. Please check your June calendar and lobby board for upcoming lodge events,e.g. Flag Day and PER Golf Tournament. On Saturday, June 7th, our lodge willhost a dinner for our ECDVP, Mark Thompson and his wife, Barbara. Pleaseshow your support, for this event, by coming out and meeting Mark and Barbara. This month, I have chosen Jacques Lauzon as Elk of the Month. Jacques isserving as Lodge Inner Guard this year, besides volunteering his time in thekitchen every Wednesday, doing dishes. We thank you, Jacques for supportingour lodge with all you do for us.In closing, it’s important thatyou, the members of thislodge, come out and supportthe events our committeechairmen put together foryou; a lot of time and hardwork go into the planning ofthese events....so, you themembers, can enjoy them. Please show your support, and don’t forget our Wednesdayand Friday night dinners.Fraternally,Maria De Armon, Exalted Ruler
