I have recently obtained an Associates degree of Nursing, from Galen College of Nursing in St. Petersberg, Fl. As of February 12, 2015, I am an official licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida. I am currently a CNA/Student Nurse at Northside Hospital in St.Petersberg, Fl. Throughout my career, I have cared for many different types of patients. I have assisted patients requiring home health care, developed administrative and time management skills at an Assisted Living Facility, and have clinical experience in long term acute care hospitals, Nursing homes, and pediatric long-term care facilities. In addition to my RN license, I have a BLS, Medtech, and other various hospital required certifications. For some, Nursing is a profession, but for me, nursing is my passion. Since I was young, my father has lived with a cardiac illness. At the age of 39, my father suffered a massive heart attack and it became clear to me what I was meant to do on this Earth. Despite the hand my father was dealt, his experience taught me that love, perseverance, and compassion are most vital when it comes to living a life of purpose. In saying that, Nursing is my purpose. As a caregiver, I demostrate the values my father taught me with every patient I care for. As a member of your team, I am confident that my critical-thinking, compassion-based care, and sheer love for nursing will make an immediate contribution to your organization. I am a young professional at the beginning my nursing career and wish to utilize my talents and strengths to care for patients within your organization. I am a fast learner with strong leadership skills who is driven to succeed, and will do whatever it takes to pursue my passion of being a Nurse. Enclosed is my resume for your review.
