Teacher “ yes we are , you just finished nap time, now what’snext”, child “ play inside, eat snack “, Teacher “ you are right, after we finish snack we go out tothe playground and mommy comes pick you up”, child looks at me smile and walked away toget engaged in play.

As child came in the classroom child took off the sweater placed the sweater in cubby, walks tothe sink and washes hands using soap, water and paper towel, when finished walks to the tableto eat break fast. Opens the utensil package, asks for help to open milk, with teachersencouragement and some assistance child opened milk carton and starts eating. When finishedpicks up trash and walks to go put it in the trash.

She says “ look teacher, we are playingoutside and mommy is coming soon, I will go home with her”, teacher “ yes, it’s almost time formom to pick you up, you are so right”, child” yeah “ and shakes hips side to side as teacher singwith her the hip hip hooray song”, she looks at teacher with a smile in her face and we continuedwalking to go back outside and play. Child stands next to teacher and hugs her.

Child changes in her own, sat down on the stool carefully and puts one leg on thesleeve of pants and then the other, puts wet pants on a bag and walks to sink to wash her hands.

Teacher “ I see you wrote your name too “, child“ I did “ and pointed at the letters she wrote following the teacher as she named each letter.

Child’s pants get wet, child said “ teacher I need to change my pants because they are wet”Teacher “ ok, let’s get your clothes from your cubby”, child “ ok”, and we walked to the cubby toget clothe. Child changes in her own, sat down on the stool carefully and puts one leg on thesleeve of pants and then the other, puts wet pants on a bag and walks to sink to wash her hands.

During snack time child open up the bag of animal crackers lined them up and started countingone by one “ 1,2,3,4,5,6” picks them up sorted out by animal attribute, looks at the Teacher andfollowed the Teachers lead as she patterned the animal cracker. As child named the animals,child puts cracker in the mouth.
