Report Cardsare required under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the federal educationlaw, and Rhode Island's approach has been praised nationally for itstransparency, accessibility, and holistic approach to school accountability. Withinthis platform, students, parents, community members and all Rhode Islanders canlearn more about how schools are performing on a wide range of metrics,including state assessments, student and teacher chronic absence, andparticipation in advanced coursework, as well as survey data on school climateand culture.
