***Please note that 5th graders CAN have a paper references sheet. It is up to the school to print them. They will not be included in their work folder

Questions that require a ruler or protractor will have the tool embedded in the question.

Students may have to drag the tool on/next to what needs to be measured.

My question is for the paper based tests...

What happens if the student writes 350 "feet" in the response box? Will the item be marked incorrect because the student wrote the word "feet" in the box with the number?  Students are so used to writing units with their answers, we worry about them entering words with the number response.

Sure!  It is perfectly acceptable for students to include units in their written responses.
