AuGold (ɡoʊld) is a chemical element with the symbol Au (from Latin: aurum "gold")and an atomic number of 79. Gold is a dense, soft, shiny, malleable and ductilemetal. Chemically, gold is a transition metal and a group 11 element. It is one ofthe least reactive solid chemical elements. The metal therefore occurs often in freeelemental (native) form, as nuggets or grains in rocks, and in veins.Gold has been a valuable and highly sought after precious metal for coinage, jewelry, and other arts since long before the beginning of recorded history. Goldstandards have been the most common basis for monetary policies throughouthuman history, being widely supplanted by fiat currency only in the late 20thcentury. All the gold ever mined in the world would fit into a cube with sides oflength 20.3 m!
Write the atomic symbol, with atomic mass, and atomic number for gold.
