Great lights and complete visibility are the main features of the new sliding system GLASS.

Elegant and discreet, the glass is the main character of the space between the inside and the outside, the high thermal and acoustic performances enable to reach very high performance values.

The GLASS system can produce minimal sliding windows of large area. Each sash can reach a maximum weight of 500 kg (motorization is recommended), glazing can be 42 mm deep.

In order to reach an high thermal performance, it has been choosen to realize the sash with an insulating plastic profile covered with an aluminium profile, the connection is guaranteed by simple coupling under pressure, so that we can have:

• more choice of the colour: the possibility to have the inner profile's colour different from the external one; all aluminium profile can be anodized or powder coated as customer's requirement.

Aluminum is a great fire blocking material that ensure also high thermal and acoustic insulation, high resistance to mechanical stresses during use and high functionality. In fact, it is a very durable and perfectly re-usable material whilst retaining it’s qualities. In case of fire, it does not release harmful substances and it can be re-fused requiring less energy (Recycling aluminum requires 95% less energy than it does to the standard production process), avoiding CO2 emissions. Finally, recycling metal is less expensive and more economical compared to extracting raw metal.

Moreover, this shelf profile distributes much of the weight on that of the door holding the polyamide profile.

The adoption of a particular adhesive to attach door and glass help to improve thermal-wind insulation for a batter stabillity and safety: it’s a technical system which replaces tha standard internal gasket.

Profiles are firmly bonded, using polyure adhesive, a real wood veneer (later varnished).

The result is a product with a strong aesthetic impact, availbale only to the inside of the frames.

ABSABS is a thermopolymer obtained from the combination between: acrylonitrile, butadiene, recyclable styrene, it’s light and resistant from severe weather conditions. It guarantees high levels of thermal and acoustic insulation.

Low Emissivity GlassLow Emissivity Glass is a type of energy efficient glass made up by two plates divided from one or more spacer; it’s an insulating glass because is provided of a special treatment which allows to contain energy dispersions.

Structural bonding among internal sash and glassIt’s is possibile thanks to an appropriate bio-adhesive tape that replace tha traditional gasket.This new system confers more stability and safety to the window’s structure.

TECHNICAL DETAILS FOR SLIDING SYSTEM GLASS

LOCKINGThe locking components is designed to guarantee a locking security both on the central node (1) and the lateral node (2).

The configuration of the locking system, fully integrated into the tubolar section of the profiles, envisages a two-way mechanism to which are connected one upper and lower threaded rods in stainless steel that can be adapted to any height since the locking bolts, also in stainless steel, can be mounted on the threaded rods according to the need. For central locking bolts are forked to avoid any machining on the wheel rail, while for lateral locking they are single.The user rotates the design external handle by 180° to vertically displace the locking bolts into the frame or back-plates and ensure the sliding is locked from the inside, preventing the sliding mode of the sash.

SLIDING RAIL / ROLLER CARRIAGEThe sliding rail is made of inox steel and inserted in a supporting profile mounted on a aframe. The choosen material guaranteeds a perfect sashes' sliding system.

HANDLESHandles have been developed in continuity with the minimal line of the system. The small size of the frontaland transverse dimensions togheter with the basic design were designed to minimize the visual impact.

MOTORIZATIONThe Glass motorizing system of opening provides that all the mechanical components are both installed into a pelmet placed on the top of the frame, realized by aluminum profiles.

GLASSESThe use of compound safety glass (VSG) increases the occurrence burglar protection and safety against falling. The glass dominates from floor to ceiling and wall to wall and can be fixed or mobile. Glass is the minimal sliding window frame that makes this possible and meets all current standards as well as the highest construction standards. The ability to accomodate large glazing profiles allows the customer to choose the product that best suits your needs.
