Presentation• Operating modes: Comfort, Night,Antifreeze, Fil-Pilote, Chrono, Timer 2h,Stand-by.

- In "Comfort" mode:The electronic control maintains the ambient temperature at the value set by the user.

- In "Night" mode:The electronic control maintains the ambient temperature at a reduced value comparedat the "Comfort" temperature.

- In "Antifreeze" mode:The electronic control maintains the ambient temperature above 7 ° C.

• This device has been designed exclusively for use on towel warmers.

• This thermostat is used to heat the liquid contained in a heated towel rail in combination with aheating element. Any other use is prohibited.

• Before use, check that the mains voltage is the same as that of the thermostat (see technicalspecifications).

• Use only suitable heating elements for the type of towel warmer used.

• Disconnect the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.

• In case of damage to the power cord, switch the device off and do not tamper with it. Damagedpower cables can only be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service center. Failure tocomply with the above can compromise system security and void the warranty.

• Store and transport the heating element only in protective packaging.

1. Make sure the towel warmer has no leakage or pockets of air inside.2. The appliance must not be placed directly in front of a power outlet.3. Avoid the appliance being hit by jets of water.4. Connect the temperature regulator only to a suitable heating element.5. Check that the mains voltage is the same as indicated in the technical specifications.6. Make sure that the type of resistance is approved for the type of towel warmer used

(see manufacturer's documentation). Use of a heating element with a greater onepower:

- Does not increase the effective power of the towel warmer;- May cause premature destruction of the heating element;- It may damage the equipment.7. Make sure that the resistance power does not exceed the maximum heating capacity of the heater.

over 30 degrees in both directions.19. Press the thermostat against the base of the heating element to compress the "O-Ring",

adequately tighten the appropriate screw so that the thermostat remains firmly fixed and notrotate around the heating element.

20. Connect the power cord to the mains.

1.Thesis Program with "Fil-Pilote" function (class II) can be controlled remotely by acontrol unit that supports the "Fil-Pilote" system. The brown wire is the phase (L), thegray wire is the neutral (N) and the black wire is used for the reception of the Fil-Pilotesignal.

Do not connect the black wire to the ground.

1. / S -INGINTON TAND BY

Press the key to turn on the unit or activate the "Stand-by" mode.[On / Stand-by]When active, the lower area of the display shows the current time, at the top the set mode and the temperature are

displayed. During "Stand-by" the display shows the word "Stb", the current time and the day of the week.NOTE: When the device enters "Stand-by" mode, 2 sounds of 0.5 seconds are emitted.

When the device is switched on, it emits a sound lasting one second.

2. MOD CO FORTE M IGHT& N :Two different temperature levels can be set:

- "COMFORT" TEMPERATURE: this is the temperature used for the "Chrono", "Fil-Pilote" and "Comfort" modes.

3. O MPERATIVE ODEPress the button to select the desired mode (see table below).[Mode]

CO FORTM MODEThe "Comfort" mode allows maintaining the set room temperature.To set this mode:- Press the button until the "Comfort" mode icon appears on the display.[Mode]- Set the desired temperature with the and buttons.[+] [-]

NIGHT MODEIn "Night" mode, a temperature lower than the "Comfort" temperature is set.We recommend using this mode at night or when the room is not used for 2 hours or more.- Press the button until the "Night" icon appears on the display.[Mode]- Set the desired temperature with the and buttons[+] [-]

ANTIFREEZE MODEIn the "Antifreeze" mode the temperature is set at 7 ° C. The appliance activates the heating element when the roomtemperature drops below 7 ° C. We recommend using this mode when the room is not used for several days.- Press the button until the "Antifreeze" icon appears on the display[Mode]

T 2IMER H MODEThe "2h Timer" mode can be used to quickly heat the room or speed up the drying of the wipes.- Press the button until the "2h" icon appears on the display.[Mode]The appliance is switched on at maximum power for 2 hours, up to a temperature of 32 ° C. MODALITÀ RONOCThis mode of operation allows the user to set different temperatures during the day.The "Comfort" / "Night" temperature and the time intervals can be programmed.-To activate the function, press the key until the "Chrono" icon appears on the display.[Mode]

Programming the Chrono modea) Set the current day and time- Activate the "Stand-by" mode and press the button for more than 3 seconds.[-]- At the top of the display the following message will be displayed: "Set" (Setting)- To set the current day and time, press the key until in the part[+]the display shows the word TED (time and date).[See the photo on the right]

- Press the button to enter the mode.[Mode]- The flashing arrow indicates the current day: with the keys

and set the current day.[+] [-]- Press the button again to confirm.[Mode]Now the display shows the current time to be set.'Hours': use the and keys to set the time and confirm with the key.[+] [-] [Mode]'Minutes': repeat the same procedure and confirm with the key.[Mode]

- At the end the thermostat returns to "Stand-by" mode.

b) Set the program for the Chrono mode:- Enter "Stand-by" mode and press the button for more than 3 seconds.[-]- At the top of the display the following message will be displayed: "Set" (Setting)- To set the time sequence of the "Chrono" mode, press the key until[+]at which the word Prog (Programming) appears at the bottom of the display.[See the photo on the right]

- Press the button to enter the mode.[Mode]Now a time sequence can be set for each day of the week.Starting with day 1, select the desired sequence with the keys and[+] [-]to select, for each hour, between the "Comfort" temperature (solid bar) button [+]and the "Night" temperature (empty bar) key.[-]See photos below as a reference.Press to confirm the setting for the first day,[Mode]repeat the same procedure for the remaining 6 days of the week.

4. K L FEYS OCK UNCTIONYou can lock the keyboard to prevent accidental changes.Press the button for 3 seconds to lock the keyboard except[Mode]of the key. The "Key lock" icon appears on the display.[On / Stand-by]To unlock the keyboard, press the button for 3 seconds, the lock icon[Mode]keys disappear from the display.

6 O W R F. PEN INDOW ELEVATION UNCTIONThe "Open window detection" function allows the device to detect if the room window is opened by a sudden drop intemperature. In this case, the device deactivates the heating element for up to 30 minutes. When the 30 minutes haveelapsed or if the room temperature increases, the thermostat is reactivated.To activate this function:-Activate the "Stand-by" mode.- Press the button for 3 seconds.[+]-Press the button to turn the function on or off.[+]-Press the key to confirm and return to "Stand-by" mode.[Prog]When the function is activated, the "open window" symbol remains lit.When the device detects the open window, the symbol flashes.When the function is deactivated, the symbol disappears.Note: the device may not detect the window opening.This can happen when: the thermostat is in an isolated place away from drafts or near a source of heat outside the device orthe change in room temperature is too slow.

N.B. 1: when the symbol " " is on, the heating element is active.

operation automatically, in this way thermostat can be activated after time setted if is possible to reach the

desired temperature in less time than that foreseen by the operating time intervals that have been set. activate

Stand-by mode, press the key for more than 3 seconds, scroll through the modes with the key and[Crono] [+]

select FUNC with the key, press it until the icon appears on the upper part of the screen, select ON[Prog]with the key and press again to confirm. After a few seconds, the remote control automatically returns[+] [Prog]to Stand-By mode.
