Election PRAYER Guide

O LORD, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O LORD, do I fear.In the midst of the years revive it;

Beloved Follower,We are in serious times that require serious

prayer and intercession for OUR NATION and the PURPOSES of GOD in it. This national election is

set against a backdrop of such shaking and perilous times. God longs to hear your voice, our voices,

crying out on behalf of our nation and His church.

Will you pray?

You are invited to a 31-day Scripture-based prayer challenge, just one prayer a day to the Lord who

reigns over all.

DAY 1

LORD, we pray Your will would be done in our nation according to Your good and

purposed outcome for the election.

Romans 8:28

DAY 2

LORD, pour out a spirit of grace and supplication on us to diligently pray without

ceasing for our nation, our leaders and Your church.

DAY 3

LORD, search me and know my heart; try me and know my anxieties; help me to repent of my sins and guide me to repent for the sins

of the United States of America.

DAY 4

LORD, pour out a spirit of repentance on our nation that we might return to You

and become a blessed nation aligned with You and Your purposes.

LORD, Rule over our nation. Thank You for the freedoms currently guaranteed to us by the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. We pray

You would preserve our ability to exercise religious freedoms and live peaceable lives.

DAY 6

LORD, reignite our hearts to love You and to live in an abiding relationship

with You on mission for Jesus, helping others follow Jesus.

LORD, help us to put our hope in Jesus Christ and the Word of God, rather than in leaders

and election outcomes.

LORD, strengthen us to stand firm with resilient trusting faith that we will not be

shaken no matter what happens.

LORD, help us to take seriously Christ’s command to actively practice

“Love your neighbor as yourself.”

LORD, remove walls of separation between believers and ignite a movement of

reconciliation with displays of loving unity in serving alongside one another

for Your glory.

LORD, establish a movement of renewal, healing and restoration in Christian

marriages and families.

DAY 12

LORD, help us cast our anxieties on You and know that You care for us. Pray for

other believers today who are struggling with anxiety.

LORD, eliminate the spirit of fear and anxiety from the lives of believers and help us display

deeper levels of trust, love, peace and joy.

LORD, pour out a spirit of the fear of the Lord across our nation, leading us back to a place of

wisdom, holiness and righteous living.

LORD, bestow on us a spiritual hunger for You, for Your Word, Your ways and Your will that

moves us to impact our culture.

LORD, send an unprecedented revival to the church that adds millions to Your

Kingdom for Your glory.

LORD, give us an increase of discernment and wisdom to recognize the truth

and not be deceived.

LORD, we pray for the exposure of deceptive media, for fairness and

for the truth to become valued again in American society.

LORD, we humbly ask, do something that would utterly amaze us and cause

The Nations to marvel over our Marvelous Lord.

LORD, we ask for an unprecedented number of believers from age

18-114 to fearlessly exercise their freedom to cast a vote.

LORD, lead every voter to seriously seek You and Your guidance to vote

according to biblical values.

LORD, we ask for a strong hedge of protection around our nation and for nothing to thwart or delay the election

process or hinder accurate results.

LORD, we ask for physical protection for all candidates and their families leading up to the election and after

the election.

LORD, in Your mercy, give us leaders who will govern with wisdom, biblical

values and be a strong ally to the Church and Israel.

LORD, exercise mercy and justice in America spreading the fame of Christ

like wildfire across our nation.

LORD, we ask for a great spiritual awakening to sweep across the nation,

teaching Your people to humble themselves with a contrite spirit and to tremble

at Your Word.

LORD, restore biblical preaching and the proclamation of the full

Gospel in the American Church with confirming demonstrations of the

Spirit and power.

LORD, awaken our nation to righteousness, sin and the love of God expressed through

the sacrificial death of Christ on Calvary for all who would believe in Him.

LORD, help us all to surrender to Your refining process of

sanctification and be the ready Bride of Jesus Christ.

LORD, give us grace to boldly proclaim the gospel and fearlessly

walk as a purified vessel for Your purposes upon the earth.

LORD, we declare Your peace will prevail in us no matter the outcome

of the election. We thank you for Your peace, protection and for

an absence of chaos and violence in our nation.
