After listening to the candidate’s entries during special story times in Hamilton Hall, young visitors will cast their votes for PTM’s 28 th Annual Kid’s Choice Book Award winner. Once they have voted, little ones can also share their thoughts with the Commander In Chief by taking part in the museum’s Please Write Project “Postcards to the President” activity. DETAILS: Please Touch Museum is proud to be the first children's museum in the country to celebrate the wonderful world of children's picture books. Since 1985, the Please Touch Museum’s Annual Book Awards has highlighted unique and innovative examples of storytelling for young children that help foster a life-long love of reading. The award was created to recognize and encourage the writing of publications that help young children enjoy the process of learning through books, and reflects Please Touch Museum’s philosophy of learning through play.
