A short history lessonour story

Our HistoryIn 1986 the Ontario Government created an initiative to give the residents of Northern Ontario improved access to College and University coursesKnown as Contact North, they opened a variety of centers where residents could take literacy, high school, or college or university courses directly in their local community.Today Contact North has 94 centers and serves over 5,000 students annually in Northern Ontario

Based on the success of Contact North, the Ontario Government funded the expansion of this service to the residents of Central, Eastern & Western Ontario called elearnnetwork.caAs a publicly funded non-profit initiative, we opened 5 locations in 2007.
