*El sukari gold mine
Sukari gold mining company ,a joint venture between Centamin Egypt and the Egyptian Government , operates the mine.
*General information
Located 15 km west of the Red Sea coast (23 km west of the coastal town of Marsa Alam) in the southern central Eastern Desert of Egypt.

Total reserves at the mine are estimated at 8.56 million ounces of gold .
This reserve increased over than the percentage was determined.

Gold mineralization occurs as a granitoid body composed of granodiorite-tonalite.
The mineralized body known as El sukari porphyry , is associated with sulfides hosts within quartz veins and alteration zones.
*Geology and mineralization
The sulphide ore at Sukari is dominated by pyrite and arsenopyrite and also contain trace amounts of sphalerite , chalcopyrite and galena.
Sukari consists of four primary zones that contain varying degrees of ore: Amun, Ra, Gazelle and Pharaoh.The open pit is based on the main ore zones which have been drilled extensively in the Amun and Ra/ Gazelle areas revealing various high-grade zones.

Factory Rock going through the process of extracting gold mine diabetes several stages , namely:- Cracker .- Assembling the raw material that has been crushed .
- Grinding the raw material .
- The raw material for flotation separation of precious metals.
- Filter and the concentration of the product.
- Grinding the product accurately .
- Separation of precious metals using a cyanide solution.

The residual can be used in other processes as it may contain low percentage of gold that it can be concentrated and can be get out after period of time with other processes.
Laboratory
Determine the percentage of gold (sample solution+nitric acid ) then water path for
30 min then added sulphuric acid then water path for30 m in then add water then make titration for the
sample using a standard percentage .
*Units in the mine
This laboratory is used to prepare the cyanide solution. (cyanide+water ) give poison gas.
To prepare this solution they make a solution of lime (CaCO3+water)then dissolve cyanide in it.Cyanide solution used to extract gold from rocks.
