Crime FactsThere is a lot of crime in El Salvador and it
occurs 24 hours a day.El Salvador has the second highest per capita
murder rate in the world.There was an increase in neighborhood
watch groups employing security guards and police patrols.
Extortion is really common which include cold calls from gang members. Small business owners and bus drivers are some victims of extortion.
