These are the flowers that have grown here during the last days
White, pink and purple wallflowers have a very long
stem
Here you have a picture of a white
wallflower
Poppies usually grow in spring in the meadows
In these flowers you can see their stamens and their polen
Lilies Begonias
Carnations are typical Spanish flowers
These are chrysanthemums.
They have very colourful petals
Geraniums are typical in Spanish patios
Yellow and red dahlias have many petals
Sunflowers have a long stem and they
produce many seeds
Gladiolus have big petals
Hyacinths have purple petals. Its flowers
make bunches
Laurel flowers have many small petals.
Laurel leaves are used in Spain for cooking
Lavender has small purple aromatic petals used for making perfumes or soap
Lilacs and lilies have very different petals and leaves.
Can you see their differences?
Daisies have long and white petals. They
grow in the meadows
Palm trees usually grow on the coast but we have one near the
school
We love pansy flowers because they only have three or four
petals but they have two colours!
Peonies are very nice too. They have many pink petals and in the
middle you can see the stamens
Look at these roses, they are very nice now!
Here you have one violet, we love its
colour!
Black tulips have long stems and long and thin
leaves
