EID – A Muslim Holiday

EID– is the end of the holy month of fasting. This happens from sun up to sun down.

Fasting

Fasting – Muslims choose not to eat, drink, watch TV, or listen to music to honor their God (Allah) during the month of Ramadan. (The Holy Month) This is meant to feel how the poor people are without food or water.

Completing the fast

Muslims have a meal to give thanks to their God after the month of fasting is over with their families.
