Dear Children,
It’s time to take a break from your online classes! Let us relax and enjoy time with our
family.
It will be wonderful if you can plan activities that do not involve gadgets for the next two
weeks. Look out for new experiences and observe things around.
● Be curious, ask lots of questions, learn to speak confidently and discover a new hobby.
Did you know that it is ok to be bored sometimes? That’s when our brain gets creative
and we get new ideas!!!
If you have done something interesting like read a book, heard an interesting story, learnt
a new experiment, cooked a dish, learnt new words, etc, remember to share it with
everyone in the class, once we are back. We will love to hear your experiences.
Do spend some time every day with your holiday home work as well.
So go ahead and have loads of fun!
Here are some tips for your summer break:
• Follow a routine. Avoid eating and sleeping at irregular times.
• Enjoy summer fruits, nutritious food and drink plenty of water and juices.
• From your window or balcony, observe how birds and animals around you are working
to beat the heat.
• Do ample freehand drawing, colouring and reading of story books.
. Play games such as Snakes and Ladders, Hide ‘n’ Seek and Bingo.
• Spend time with grandparents, if they are staying with you.
• Help mamma and pappa with daily chores like cleaning up and watering the plants.
• Give away your unused clothes and toys to someone who will need them.
Dear Parents,
As we are all confined to our homes, it is best seen as an occasion to celebrate parenthood
and bond with your child.
Do set a time limit for T.V, supervise the channels they watch and also ensure you converse
with them in English once in a while. Please do not encourage use of mobile phones for
games. Teach your child to be responsible for his/her interactions with others. Ensure that
your child knows to take care of his/her belongings, learns to wish others, is equipped to
dress/undress independently, learns correct eating habits, is toilet trained and is able to
express his/her needs independently.
Reinforcing social distancing norms and equipping children to stay safe is to be of top
priority.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOLIDAY HOMEWORK
Kindly note –
• All work to be done in a fresh combined (English, Hindi, Math, EVS) notebook.
• Holiday homework has been divided into 3 weeks.
• You are requested to attempt the sheets date wise.
• The dates of submission are mentioned at the end of each sheet. Follow the submission
schedule strictly or else the child will be burdened with too much work towards the end
of the vacations.
• Week 1 submission – 6th June
• Week 2 Submission – 13th June

LET’S GET PAMPERED
A lockdown is not an easy thing to go through, but there are two ways of looking
at it - acceptance or resistance, and most of you would agree that accepting it is the
best way to save everyone around. And, if you want to uplift your mood quite
instantly, guess the simplest thing you can do is look after yourself. Let's start with
good skin and hair first. Everyone knows skin and hair also take a beating due to
decreased outdoor physical activity. There can be stiffness in the body due to lack
of activity, which could in turn make the skin and hair dull like never before. Use
natural ingredients for skin care: During this time, it would be better to use natural
products for skin care instead of readymade cosmetics. Children will enjoy and
love to make them for you. So, go ahead and give them this opportunity.
• For Face -
• Milk and honey pack
For this one, either take milk powder or simply take milk and add a few drops of honey
to it. Apply the mixture on your face and let it stay on for 10 to 15 minutes. It will
moisturize your skin and soften it.
• Banana face mask
1. Mash one-half of a banana in a bowl.
2. Mix in a tablespoon of lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey.
3. Apply the mask to your face and keep the mixture on for 15 minutes.
4. Rinse with lukewarm water and then moisturize.
• For dandruff free scalp and hair fall-
Mix the white of an egg along with 1 teaspoon hair oil and 1 teaspoon curd. Apply
it in the scalp and on the roots of the hair. Keep it for 30 mins and shampoo your
hair.
• Try your own skin remedies at home and share anyone with you class teacher too.

• On the occasion of World Environment Day i.e. on 5th June, make a
TABLE MAT. Use leaves or do leaf/vegetable printing/draw plants,
