In 2001, founders of EIC Canada from University of Calgary Fluid Lab developed the world's most advanced thermal fluid measurement technology.

In 2008, Thermonano Material Tech (Toronto) Ltd was established in Canada.

In 2009, founders of EIC Canada set up a R&D center in China. Center committed to LED heat sink technology development and market research.In February 2011, EIC Group was established in Jiangsu, China. The total investment is US$50,000,000.

EIC GROUP specializes in R&D, design, sale, and service of LED lighting, high-power and high-efficiency heat sink, carbon nano-tubes, surface coating& EMI materials, and intelligent control system.

The core team of EIC is mainly composed of outstanding talents in various backgrounds, such as academician of the mechanics academy, post-doctorals from Tsinghua University and University of Calgary, etc. EIC cooperates with academician Z.H Zhang from China National Institute ofMetrology, R&D team from Chengdu Nano-Institute (CAS), professor from China Space Technology Academy, and Advanced Coating TechnologyCenter of University Toronto (CACT), EIC solved many world-class problems, such as heat-dissipation of high power LED lighting, 2nd and 3rd lightdistribution, intelligent control, etc.

In Kunshan, there are thousands of 250W and 400W HPSL. The public lighting will consume more and more limited electricity. This project is atrial to use EIC's 90W Dolphin series LED street light to replace 250W HPSL. more than 64% of energy can be saved.
