Raquel Bryant has been an employee at Salem Women's Clinic for over three years. During that time she has worked as a Medical Assistant and as our Medical Assistant Supervisor for over one year.

Raquel is one of the brightest medical assistants that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is caring and personable and my patients absolutely adore her. She has maintained an impeccable attendance record and consistently performs above and beyond what is expected of her. She always goes the extra mile and does her work as well as work for others.

Raquel should have gone to medical school years ago but due to life circumstances and family commitments as a young women she did not continue her education. She is at a crossroad now and should attend college and pursue a medical degree. Raquel is extremely intelligent and she will make an insightful and caring physician someday. She is organized and has the ability to lead others in an effortless manner. She pays attention to detail and understands the importance of follow through in patient care and safety.

Raquel has been my right hand for the last two years and I feel like I am losing part ofmyself as she moves on to the next phase of her life and education. I helped with her training as a medical assistant intern and I have had the pleasure of watching her grow professionally within my organization. She will excel at whatever she chooses because mediocre is not part of her vocabulary. I will fill her position but I will not replace her place in my heart. I wish her well and I truly hope that when her education is completed that she will return to work with me again at Salem Women's Clinic.

Raquel has all the attributes of a physician and I hope that she fulfills her dream and attends medical school in the future. She is intelligent, she has a well-rounded world view, she is caring and can relate to all patients no matter their socio-economic status with grace and dignity. Treating patients right is the key to success in the medical profession and Raquel truly gets this 100%.

I truly recommend Raquel from my heart. She is the best medical assistant and supervisor that I have had in ten years and she will be sorely missed. I would keep her here if only she would stay, but as a mother bird knows, the baby bird has to leave the nest to fly and Raquel is going to fly no matter what she does. I will miss her bright smile and positive attitude, but most of all I will miss her friendship.
