    Herr Hfner, Rheinland-Pfalz

    setzt bei der Umsetzung seiner

    eGovernment- und IT-Strategie

    auf die Kooperation mit Unter-

    nehmen. Mit dem Virtualisie-

    rungsspezialisten VMware hat

    das Land jetzt einen Rahmen-

    vertrag geschlossen. Welche

    Zielsetzung verfolgt das Land

    damit?

Nebenden damit einhergehenden Einspa-rungen fhrt dies insgesamt zueiner QualittsverbesserunghinsichtlichdesVertragsman-a g e m e n ts.

    Beispiel Virtualisierungs-

    technologien spielen, um

    die Effizienz der Landes-

    IT zu verbessern?

ner technischen Plattform bedie-nen.

    jede n Verwaltung angemessenRechnung getragen.

Unter Green IT verstehen

Als Partner holte Verdi dieExperten von Siemens IT Solu-tions and Services ins Boot. Ziel

ernment Computing product guide "Storage & Se-

the complete product area. The product guide

compresses all essential facts, trends and infor-

mation to support the target group with the pur-

    chase decision.

    Applications & Solutions

Because of the increasing importance of

eGovernment, the demands on the used applica-

tion programs increase. Apart from functionali-

ty the focus is on a smooth data exchange be-

tween Core systems and other authorities. The

eGovernment product guide about this topic

presents selected applications and best practice

examples, quotes essential facts and demon-

strates trends which are decisive for software
