Create a vehicle with provided materialsPlace an egg inside the vehicleMake sure the egg stays safe down the ramp

Students will be asked to create sketches to turn in and a reflection paperThis assignment will be graded based on the effort put into the design in addition to the safety of the egg

RequiredRequired MaterialThe vehicle must include:• 4 wheels, axles, and platform• The egg must see over the edge• Egg must be removable within 5

seconds

ExampleAbove is an example of a vehicle made. The egg made it safely down the ramp.

Materials Provided• Each student will receive a platform, a straw, axels,

and 4 wheels• It is then up to the students to be creative and use

any materials provided including: • Egg cartons• Foam• Pipe cleaners• Cotton balls • Glue

OutcomesIt is expected the eggs successfully make it down the ramp in one piece, unharmed. If you do not succeed the first time, modify and try again.
