    FORMAT OF PRELIM REPORT:

    (8 pages max. with Times New Roman font and size of 11 with line spacing of 1.15)

    Report Summary

    Team Name

    1. Project Summary (abstract) Teams are requested to submit abstract of their project reports,

    guiding main highlights of their project

    2. Project Cost Total Project Cost

    (Cost Report to be submitted separately in cost report Format)

    3. Team Structure Team members and Faculty Advisor defining individuals roles

    and responsibilities.

    4. Time Plan Week-wise Progress details

    5. Innovative or Distinct features

    of your vehicle.

    Small description.

    Implementation.Feasibility.

    Cost Implication.

    6. How is your vehicle

    commercially feasible?

    Justify that the vehicle can be commercialized.

    Features that may convince the customers.

    Field of Application

    7. Team Contact Details Name of each team member along with the Faculty Advisor,

    Contact no. of at least 3 team members including Team Leader

    and Faculty Advisor; andE-mail ID of the Team / Team Leader.

    Explain under following Heads:

    Assumptions. Basic Design Procedure. (Theoretical Background). Design Calculation. Description of drive train adopted. Pictorial representation also to be included. Resources Required.

    Software Output (CAD/CAE Packages) along with Pictorial representation. Method of Implementation. USP.(Teams are open to decide the heads. However, the design report should include pictorial

    representation, design calculations and CAD/CAE output).

    REPORT TEAM NAME before the last date of submission as per schedule.
