Acidity is one of the most familiar problems suffered by the people
now a day, but is also one of the simplest to treat.
Acid that is formed in our stomach facilitates in digesting the food we
eat, but when there is no sufficient food to digest, or if this acid is formed
more than the requisite quantity, it leads to acidity.
Among others, belching, vomiting, nausea and mouth ulcers are
common symptoms of acidity.
Including these there are various symptoms of acidity is their as
sourness in mouth, burning sensation or pain in stomach, dyspepsia and
heartburn.
Eating oily and spicy foods are harder to absorb and prompt the cells
that force acid to generate extra acid than is essential.
The most general causes of acidity are having outside food regularly,
irregular meals, skipping meals and eating too much of spicy food. Strain
is also an essential cause of acidity.
Too much of work stress or family tensions over a long period of time
can lead to the body systems responding harmfully and surplus quantity of
acid being formed.
There are several effective ayurvedic treatments for acidity and some of
them are:
Water: Drink water when you get up in the morning.
This would wash out the surplus acid in the stomach and extra surplus
substance that would have build up during the night.
Also, drinking coconut water three times in a day helps in preventing
acidity.
Nuts: Almonds (badam), raisins (kishmish) and dried figs (anjeer) help in
reducing the burning feeling in the stomach.
Milk: Milk taken hot, warm or cold is the best acidity booster as it fully
neutralizes the acidic effect of the food thereby giving relief to your body.
Fruits: Bananas, watermelons, papayas and cucumbers are famous for
balancing your acidity.
Tulsi: Consuming a few tulsi (basil) leaves will provide you immediate
relief from acidity.
Just like tulsi leaves, sipping water boiled with chopped mint leaves proves
to be the best treatment for acidity.
Ginger (adark): If ginger is used in meals, it improves you digestive system
and avoids happening of heartburns.
Sauf or Aniseed: Indian peoples have the
tradition of chewing some sauf after meals, this is a
superior practice since sauf helps in absorption and
it is food for those peoples who suffer from acidity.
Clove: One piece of clove (laung or lavang) kept in
the mouth for some time can facilitate in avoiding
acidity.
Arozyme capsule is effective herbal capsule made

acidity.
It is made by herbal ingredients such as Zingiber
Officinale (Sonth), Terminalia Chebula (Haritaki),
Cassia Angustifolia (Sanay), Mint (Poudina), Gardenia

Sodium Bicarbonate (Madhur kshar) and Ferula Foetida
