The belief that wealth is wrong is more social than scriptural ! True or False
It is a rationalization imposed upon us by many of those who choose not to earn much wealth !

Question : Is it inherently wrong to be rich ?
It is no more inherently wrong to acquire material wealth than it is wrong not to acquire wealth if we truly don’t desire it !
It’s what we do with money that matters!
It’s how we get it that counts!
Money is a measure of the services we perform for others, if its accumulation is noble !

Do you have to go through hell to get to heaven? Large portions of the human race still believe that for an individual to experience an
eternity of happiness, he/she must first experience a lifetime of unhappiness!
We must suffer, they say, to earn our reward !
We find ourselves placed upon this planet fully equipped to contribute significantly to our own individual success !
If our being here proves anything, it is that we must accept the challenge of using the tools & talents that we possess !
Our purpose is to make our lives as successful & as happy as we possible can!
Rather than being a mantle of suffering, we should view our existence here as a dress rehearsal for the eternity of happiness we deserve !

Isn’t being here all the permission you need ?
Old JESUIT saying --- “It is better to ask for forgiveness than permission.”
“ Mediocrity is at all times expected without someone else’s permission.”
Excellence, it frequently seems, requires another’s expressed approval !
This belief may stem from the conformity which is thrust upon us from childhood.
Educators call it the “socialization” process.
Learning to stand quietly in line, to answer his/her name when it is called alphabetically, to speak only when called upon & to otherwise conform to the codes & expectations
imposed upon him/her.

“ To succeed requires that we step out of line away from the pack & march to the sound of our personal distant drummer!”
SOOO – we wait for the voice of our subconscious teacher to excuse us from the room before we begin.
“YET THAT VOICE WILL NEVER COME – UNLESS IT COMES FROM WITHIN!”
“ No one is INHERENTlY more deserving of success than another.”
JUST – BEING – HERE Is all the permission we need.

You must control your own lifemust control your own life !You are totally responsible for the results that you obtain.
It’s not the breaks that control your life, It’s You
Don’t ever say – “ that’s the way the ball bounces, (only in sports.)
Don’t ever say – That’s the way the cookie crumbles. ( Only in the cookie store )
Don’t ever say – That’s the way the mop flops.
You need to understand – that you must bounce your own ball.

WERE YOU DESIGNED TO BE LED ?
We were not equipped with minds of our own so that we could abdicate control of our destiny to someone else!
TRUE or FALSE
It makes no sense to believe that we are in any way designed to be kept under the care & control of another.
We were not designed to be led !
We were not designed to follow !
We were designed to achieve , to strive, to build !
HOW TO ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE OF SUCCESS
We were never intended to act , as does the pine caterpillar.
Place a series of pine caterpillars end-to-end in a circle until the circle is closed, and each will follow the caterpillar in front of it around the circle indefinitely.
Place food in the center of the circle, and the caterpillars will continue to follow each other around that food until they die from starvation.
The pine caterpillar is an insect with out imagination.
It lacks the ability to seek any form of independent success on its own.
We must control our lives !! To do otherwise is to , quite literally, waste them !

Papillion --- French prisoner – condemned to life imprisonment on Devil's Island.
Repeatedly – he dreamed that he stood before a harsh tribunal.
They would shout - “ You are charged with a wasted life. How do you plead? “ GUILTY” “I PLEAD GUILITY.”
Papillion knew the meaning of waste, for him waste was to permit his life to be spent under the control of someone else.
We too, each in his own way, may be or are prisoners in our own life.
We must break through the bars of conformity that we have constructed around ourselves.

We must not permit our lives to be spent trudging in circles behind another, who follows another who follows another, who might ultimately be
following us!
We are equipped with the ability to lead our own lives.

Mediocrity is a in-side job.To overcome mediocrity you must begin by changing the inside of the
affected individual & work its way out !

Communism is the clearest example mankind has of official mediocrity. WAY
Socialism follows Communism – our nation is slowly headed to a form of socialism. WHY
We have a nation of entitlement minded people who’s lives are built around mediocrity.
