The Rehearsal Party

Bayview Wildwood would be happy to cater your Rehearsal Party. Whether you choose a light buffet, an assortment of sandwiches and finger foods, a full service dinner, or a BBQ by the lake (complete with bonfire!), we are sure you will be pleased. This is a great opportunity to welcome friends and family to your “wedding weekend”. Pricing for the rehearsal party will vary depending on the type of service, menu items, and complexity of the event.

The Wedding Ceremony

A wedding at Bayview Wildwood would offer a variety of options for hosting the wedding ceremony. Choose from the nearby chapel (Anglican denomination) or from several other churches with a variety of denominations in the local area.

Consideration may be given to an indoor or outdoor ceremony on site, depending on the time of year, complexity of the set up, and number of guests. Additional charges will apply should the ceremony be held on site.

Menu Tasting

At your request, a tasting of menu items can be arranged, once the wedding has been booked. This would be complimentary for the bride and groom, additional guests would be charged at our regular dinner menu rates.

The Wedding Reception

Our Echo’s Dining Lounge, set as you wish, will host your reception. Our reception room has large windows offering a stunning panoramic view of beautiful Sparrow Lake.

Echo’s will seat a maximum of 250 guests for dining and provides an entertainment area with a dance floor that will accommodate additional dance guests, up to 275. The rental fee for the private use of Echo’s is $500.00 for the event. A selection of hot and cold h’ors d’oeuvres is a delightful touch to serve during your pre-dinner reception and wedding dance. A list of h’ors d’oeuvre and refreshment options with pricing is attached. We are pleased to offer a variety of flexible options for beverage service. You may choose, from: Host Bar – Wedding bill covers all beverage charges. Modified Host Bar – Wedding bill covers some beverage charges. Cash Bar – Wedding guests pay for beverages.

The Wedding Dinner

Our culinary team will meticulously cater to you and your guests with a delicious wedding feast. Sample menus are attached; however, our Food and Beverage Director would take pride in customizing a menu especially for you, reflecting your personal taste and style.

3 Course Dinner, 1 entrée choice: $50.00 per person (see sample #1 attached) 4 Course Dinner, 2 entrée choices: $60.00 per person (see sample #2 attached) 5 Course Dinner, 2 entrée choices: $65.00 per person (see sample #3 attached) (All pricing is subject to 13 % HST, 10% SERVICE CHARGE.) Your Wedding Cake

Bayview’s own talented Pastry Chef, would be pleased to create the custom wedding cake of your dreams…. whether it’s “simple, yet elegant” or “big and bold”. Our Pastry Chef would also be delighted to prepare a selection of homemade chocolates and truffles to present to your guests as wedding favours… how decadent!

It would be our pleasure to consult with you on these items following the booking of your function. Prices will vary depending on the complexity of your requests.

The Decorations and Linens:

Consulting on the theme and ambiance of your special day would be our delight. We would be pleased to place any decorations, centerpieces, candles, etc. Any further decorating arranged by the bridal party may begin by 10:00 am the day of the event.

We offer a basic selection of quality linens. The resort provides white linen table clothes and white damask napkins, and white china. Arrangements are easily made to dress your tables with custom linens and colours, at a nominal rental fee.

Your Flowers

We would be pleased to refer you to our preferred florist, who would take care of all of your floral needs with detail and care. Delivery to the resort and ceremony site on the day of the wedding is easily arranged.





Photography

The scenic grounds at Bayview Wildwood provide the perfect backdrop to creating photographic memories of your special day. Wedding parties are welcome to use our grounds freely for picture taking. Whether it’s floating by in a canoe, leaning against a tree, or posing along the picturesque shoreline, we are sure you will find the perfect backdrop.

Should you wish to have photographs taken indoors, there are a number of options to choose from, including fireside in the Crusader Lounge or along the large lakefront windows in the Echo’s Dining Lounge.

We would be pleased to refer you to our preferred local photographer.

Aesthetics and Beauty Services

Pamper yourself on your special day with a relaxing massage from our massage therapist. Bayview Wildwood would be pleased to supply you with a list of local salons to tend to your beauty needs, many of which would supply aestheticians that would come to assist you on site.

The Accommodations

To keep things simple, Bayview Wildwood will arrange overnight accommodation for you and your guests. The resort offers a variety of well-appointed resort rooms, suites, and cottages. A block of rooms is conveniently arranged for your function, allowing your guests to call the resort directly and book their own accommodations offered at our special wedding rate. Our rates include accommodation only. We encourage wedding guests to take full advantage of our resort facilities and book accommodation for the entire weekend, making your wedding celebration even more enjoyable and relaxing. Suites $145.00 Rooms $120.00 All rates are per room, per night, based on double occupancy and are subject to 13% HST and 5% GRATUITY. Rates include overnight accommodation. Additional adults in the accommodation are $20.00 per adult and additional children are $10.00 per child. Bayview Wildwood is pleased to offer the bride and groom complimentary accommodation of their choice for the wedding night.





The Next Day…

Our country fresh breakfast buffet is the ideal way to say farewell and thank you to your guests. Our Echo’s Dining Lounge is the perfect location to enjoy a relaxing late morning breakfast while overlooking the calm of Sparrow Lake. Our Chef prepares a full selection of piping hot breakfast items, custom omelet’s, fresh fruit slices, cereals, delicious breads, muffins, pastries, and chilled juices. Breakfast prices are $14.95 for adults and $7.50 for children. Breakfast could be charged to the wedding bill, or individually to your guests.

Bayview Wildwood would be happy to provide you with a private room to open your gifts. A reception with food and beverages could be planned and priced accordingly.

Deposits and Billing

Bayview Wildwood requires a deposit of $850.00 at the time of booking to secure your selected wedding date. Two months prior to the wedding date, an additional instalment of $2,500.00 is required. Confirmed guest count and the balance of your estimated final bill are due seven days prior to your wedding celebration. All incidental charges including accommodation, host bar, and any other charges incurred on the master bill will be due the day immediately following the event.
