Another optional program service is Contractor Prequalification Assessment. Our assessment/prequalification tools collect four years of OSHA Injury/Illness, citation and EMR history. The Safety Audit section collects information and documents relevant to the contractor’s safety management plan. Content is modeled on the OSHA VPP criteria. Data alarms verify correct submissions and interviews may be used to validate program implementation. You may optionally select industry or utility specific rubrics in the evaluation of programs, policies and procedures.

Presentation Notes
This year we are also introducing new Ranking Criteria. We believe the criteria is simpler and more objective. A Contractor is first ranked as Above or Below the Industry Average. For a contractor to be ranked above the Industry Average their Recordable Incident Rate, DART Rate, and EMR but be above average. The must also have 0 fatalities. If any of the above rates are below the industry average, they’re ranked Below the Industry Average. A contractor who's above average and have all rates in the third quartile are ranked Bronze. If all rates fall into second quartile or better they are Silver, and if all rates are in first quartile, they are Gold.
