The state diagram in fig. 6.6(b) shows the significant states reached by the pipeline after initiations.However, between initiations, there are several intermediate states as shown here. Though these intermediate states are not significant for the MAL analysis, they add to students understanding of the pipeline operation. Here, significant states state transitions due to initiations are shown

highlighted.
