I personally really enjoy creative forms of expression, such as photography, writing and art. However, there is such a heavy STEM focus at Cupertino that it over-shadows these creative expressions. At the same time, I also wanted to revive the creative writing club, Ti-noScribes. Ruminating on these thoughts, I visited Cal and saw "caliber", Berkley's literary magazine. I decid-ed that starting a literary and arts magazine will be the solution. It's a tangible publication for students to publish all forms of creative works. Regarding the name, I wanted to find a word that was the antonym of "complacent", something that means to ignite change.
