Specifics of the Initiative Online course will be a requirement for the class of 2011 Goals of the course:

Introduce students to their rights and responsibilities under the honor code Present realistic ethical dilemmas they might encounter in their coursework Provide real life illustrations of why developing habits of intellectual honesty and

academic integrity might be an important facet of their education Provide students with basic information about doing scholarly research in a

variety of disciplines Introduce students to the resources available through the library

Course will be delivered through Blackboard Students’ completion of the course will be monitored through grade book feature
