CENTRAL REGION CONFERENCE
INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF EDUCATORS
2017 Educators Rising California Central Region Conference 2
WELCOME
March 24th, 2017
Dear Future Educator,
Project Tomorrow welcomes you to the 2017 Educators Rising California Central Region
Conference. We hope you find the day informative, insightful, and engaging!
You probably already know that California and the nation are in desperate need for new teachers in
the next decade, especially in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. No doubt
you also are aware of the profound impact that teachers have on their students, an impact that can
change lives. To be honest, it is not an easy job, but the rewards outweigh the demands. We truly
believe that this is the perfect time for you to begin down the teacher preparation pathway by
expanding your knowledge about careers in teaching and education.
To help you do that, today’s conference agenda includes an opening panel, breakout sessions, and
a college fair, which are all designed to encourage you as you pursue your future career.
Thank you in advance for your active participation in today’s conference. The Project Tomorrow
team looks forward to helping you become tomorrow’s educators, leaders, innovators, and engaged
citizens of the world.
Sincerely,
Julie Evans, Ed.D. Chief Executive Officer Project Tomorrow

CTFF reaches undergraduates in fields beyond teacher preparation to include Kinesiology, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Art, Music, Drama, Recreation, and more. College students reinforce their own learning by teaching in their chosen field, while K-12 students gain from fun instructional methods. CTFF partners with local school districts and assists with their after school and morning programs. This partnership allows future educators to gain experience by working with students in a professional setting.
