• 40 respondents (31% return rate)
• 60% (n=24) rated their IT skills as good or very good
• 98% (n=39) had access to a computer at work or at home
• 39 respondents used the e-library for literature searching
• Near universal use of email (n=39) with much smaller numbers using social networking sites (n=3) or instant messaging services (n=7)

• 30 respondents had accessed the shared space in the last 6 months
• Usually once per week (n=14) and most often for 5-15 minutes (n=19)
• Most popular features were shared documents
• Least popular features were discussions
• Strong professional preference
• Improvement required to some technical/structural aspects
