•  A Regional Knowledge Network of leaders on Science, Technology,

Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in the Americas. •  140 members: government officials, program implementers, academic

experts, among others.

3. Technical Cooperation Missions

•  Technical cooperation missions between private, governmental, academic, and civil society institutions in OAS Member States.

•  Regional cooperation for the transfer of innovative practices and lessons learned in STEM Education at the preschool, primary and secondary levels in the region.

Mexico - Ecuador Institutions: •  Programa Adopte un Talento A.C. (PAUTA) •  Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL ) Objective: Share and transfer knowledge and strengthen teachers skills in

STEM education. Results: •  Legal cooperation agreement between PAUTA and UTPL signed . •  33 teachers and educational professionals trained. •  30 match and science kits delivered to teachers. •  Practice sessions implemented with 200 students.

Colombia - Peru Institutions: •  Centro de Ciencia y Tecnología from Antioquia (CTA) •  Caja de Compensación Familiar from La Guajira (Comfaguajira). •  Ministry of Education of Peru •  Consejo Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Tecnológica (CONCYTEC) from

Peru Objective: Strengthen institutional capacities for the development and

implementation of programs of education in STEM, through the exchange of knowledge and horizontal cooperation.

Results: •  Access to experiences in the design and implementation of innovative practices. •  Information and non-financial resources shared to improve current and future

practices. •  More than 150 participants in the workshops.
