“Education Matters”, a charitable trust that funds innovative public enhancement programs to help primary and secondary .... where

students excel and enrich their learning experiences.

best public education happens when the community participates in its development and that a strong public education system is the cornerstone of a healthy, vibrant community.

Solutions that don’t break the bank, reinvent the wheel or marginalize our teachers are within our grasp. We could have rigorous classes, safe and disciplined schools and treat teachers like valued colleagues rather than easily replaceable cogs, and we could do so tomorrow if we wanted. The cost? Education in its general

sense is a form

of learning in which

the knowledge, skills,

and habits of a group of

people are transferred from

one generation to the next

through teaching, training,

or research. Education

frequently takes place

under the guidance of

others, but may also

be autodidactic.[1] Any expe

rience that has a formative

effect on the way one

thinks, feels, or acts may

be considered educational.

Schools systems are sometimes also based on religions, giving them different.

In formal education, a curriculum is the set of courses and their

content offered at a school or university. As an

idea, curriculum stems from the Latin word for race course,

referring to the course of deeds and experiences through which children grow to become mature adults

n the past, those who were disabled were often not eligible for public education. Children with disabilities were often educated by physicians or special tutors. These early physicians (people like Itard, Seguin, Howe, Gallaudet) set the foundation for special education today.
