Education SIFF Education engages audiences in meaningful lifelong learning, providing access, locally and internationally, to tools that support community development through digital storytelling. Through both the Festival and year-round programming, SIFF Education expands the capacity and reach of cinematic stories with activities ranging from filmmaking for youth to specialized trainings for professional filmmakers. SIFF Education is organized into three main categories: Catalyst, FutureWave , and Film4All . Catalyst Programs for Filmmakers Catalyst is a year-round program that educates and empowers filmmakers through professional development trainings, workshops, and forums. Film4All Cinema Education for Everyone Film4All is a program that offers cinema education, discussions, and workshops for the public. These forums provide a place for audiences to engage in a meaningful way with film topics as well as develop the skills to tell their own cinematic stories. FutureWave Programs for Youth and Educators FutureWave partners with schools and community organizations to provide youth and educators with digital tools for cinematic storytelling building a connection with SIFF and the local filmmaking community.
