Education Law • The Ministry of Education implements the Kingdom’s constitution
regarding the right to education, including special needs students.
• Article 5 in the Education Law 27 / 2005 emphasizes the
diversification of education based on individual needs to enrich
students experiences, both gifted, high achievers and special needs
students.
• Basic education is Mandatory (Grades 1-9).
• Public schools education is a free service in Bahrain.
• Education law emphasizes gender equality in terms of education.
